We work with potential Bildungsurlaub students to customise / tailor make their course contents as much as possible and to cooperate with their employers to complete the appropriate and necessary paperwork.

The Bildungsurlaub programme is offered and approved by a number of Federal States in Germany and these can be found on the websites of those relevant Federal States where our Bildungsurlaub is published.

In the case of our school, Avanti Language Institute, our Bildungsurlaub is officially approved and promoted for Educational Leave by the following Federal States:

Please note; Educational Leave is the official term used for the legal entitlement of employees in Germany to be paid for special leave for further education.

The duration of this Educational Leave is usually either for 5 or 10 days (=1 or 2 weeks stay) per year.

This officially recognised Educational Leave is granted by the relevant German Federal States above, for English Language courses, such as the ones provided by Avanti Language Institute.

Potential students wishing to avail of the Bildungsurlaub should note that your employer will continue to pay you your salary during your granted Educational Leave, while you will only pay for the ‘holiday’ itself.
